Ariana Grande is a go-getter. Take, for example, the coveted role of Wicked’s Galinda. The pop star had her sights set on portraying the good witch since she was a child. Now, the We Can’t Be Friends singer is an Oscar nominee for that very role in Jon M. Chu’s film adaptation of the Broadway show.

The same goes for prime real estate; if Grande sees a property, likes it, and wants it, she gets it. As the singer and actress well knows, there’s no place like home—but where does Grande reside today? Here’s everything we know about the performer’s real estate portfolio.

Francis Ford Coppola’s Home in Hancock Park

Back in the early 2010s, Grande and her mother Joan rented a 6,041-square-foot, Tudor-style home in the Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles that The Godfather director previously owned. It boasted six bedrooms, a wood-paneled sunroom, a gourmet kitchen, a two-story entryway, hardwood floors, and a study. But something was missing for the up-and-coming singer: a recording studio, which she had installed in the basement. It’s unclear what Grande paid for the property, but it was listed for rent in 2012 for $18,900 a month. (Ouch.)

A French Manor Rental in Toluca Lake

The first property Grande invested in was a French-style home in Los Angeles in 2013. She rented the manor with her mom, Joan, to fully immerse herself in the L.A. music scene (this was the year Grande’s first hit single, “The Way” would come out and her music career would fully take off). It was a luxury rental, spanning 10,000 square feet, with seven fireplaces, a home theater, a chef’s kitchen, and a home gym. Its outdoor entertainment space also featured numerous fountains, plus a living area, complete with a fireplace. How much the mom and daughter duo paid in rent is unclear, but the property did sell in 2015 for $6.5 million.

A Mediterranean-Style Mansion in Benedict Canyon

Grande has switched up her look countless times over the years, and the singer-songwriter likes variety in her home aesthetics, too. A case in point is the Mediterranean-style mansion in the Benedict Canyon section of Los Angeles she rented in 2015. The mansion was a secluded property (which makes sense, considering that by this time, Grande had released two wildly successful albums). The temporary home was a five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bathroom abode, with upwards of 6,000 square feet of living space and a marble interior.

Grande bought her first property in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. She shared the pad with Pete Davidson during their whirlwind romance in 2018 and paid $16 million in the sale (Davidson did not pay room and board). The space spanned 4,023 square feet and was jam-packed with amenities fit for a pop star, like an IMAX theater, a private spa, sauna, and pool in addition to its five bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. While the couple split the same year, Grande didn’t sell the condo until 2021 for $13.5 million.

Returning west in 2020, Grande put down roots in a contemporary home tucked away in the Hollywood Hills. It was a three-story property with four bedrooms, seven bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, fitness and wellness centers, an infinity pool, and a wine cellar that could house a modest 300 bottles. Reports speculate that her then-boyfriend, real estate agent Dalton Gomez may have had a hand in the deal. Regardless, Grande paid $13.7 million for a 10,000-square-foot residence but sold it in 2021 for $14 million.

After her stint in the Hollywood Hills, the Oscar nominee moved to Montecito, purchasing the 5,500-square-foot property that previously belonged to Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi. She paid $6.75 million for the historic estate, which featured some unique features, like two English half-timbered barns from the 1700s and an orangerie. The home is where Grande and Gomez quietly wed, and snapshots from the day showcased its white walls and exposed beams. Unfortunately, her time spent here was short-lived, as Grande sold it for $9.1 million in 2022.

North London Living Space

While filming Wicked in 2022, Grande rented a private home in North London that, a source told The Sun, was “like a fortress.” Highlighted features included a home theater, private gardens, and a kitchen stocked with top-of-the-line appliances.

Grande and Gomez purchased a home in the highly coveted Bird Streets neighborhood of Los Angeles in an off-market deal in 2021. The property cost $8.9 million for 1,500 square feet and a little less than one-third of an acre of hillside plot with unobstructed views of the Sunset Strip. Few details are known of the private home, but it boasts a long, gated driveway with a two-car garage, a paved patio, and a swimming pool. Grande sold the house for $8.3 million to rapper Bad Bunny in 2024 after she and Gomez divorced in 2023.
