Inside Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner’s “Friendly” Relationship

The Affleck family is drama-free.

Per new reports, Ben Affleck and wife Jennifer Lopez have a great co-parenting relationship with the Affleck’s ex-wife, Jennifer Garner—and Garner and J.Lo are somewhat close.

A source told the Daily Mail today that the “Ain’t Your Mama” singer has actually helped Affleck get to a “better place” with Garner.

“Ben is healthy,” the source said. “The drama of the past and the emotions of divorce are long gone and they are all making it work.”

In fact, the insider added, Lopez herself is “friendly” with Garner and all of their children “love each other.”

Affleck and Garner, who were married from 2005 to 2018, share kids Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11. Lopez, meanwhile, shares 15-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

“It is really a very happy co-parenting situation,” the source added.

Since marrying Affleck last year, Lopez has been seen appearing with Garner to support the kids at different events. In April, they were seen walking with their sons in Santa Monica, and in May, they all attended Seraphina’s school play.

Affleck and Lopez are also often seen out with their blended family. The kids were present during both of their weddings (Las Vegas and Georgia), and even accompanied them on their honeymoon to Paris.

Lopez recently spoke candidly about what it’s like raising her and Affleck’s kids under the same roof. During a guest appearance on Live With Kelly and Mark in May, she said that she and her husband now have “almost five teenagers. The youngest is 11, so he’s not quite [a teen], but preteen,” the singer said of Samuel. “He’s an angel.”

Still, she added, “The teenage years are tough. They start challenging you and everything. You have this baby for a while and then it’s like your best little friend who loves being with you all the time, and all of a sudden they’re like, ‘Get out of my room.’”
