I'm one of the first beauty editors in the world to try SK-II’s GenOptics Spot Pen, here's my review

What I think about it:
When I think about SKI-II, their Essence products come to mind, as friends have sworn by it. I’ve been slow to adopting their products, but recently I’ve come to an inclusion to SKII’s whitening range, the GenOptics Spot Pen is a handy, easy-to-use magnetic applicator. Its main use? To reduce spots, in my case, I’m targeting freckles on my cheeks. I was given the product about a week before its worldwide launch, and I’ve decided to put it to test.
Like the GenOptics range, the Pen contains their signature PITERA ingredient, coupled with a concentrated WH Smart Cocktail*. The Pen feels like a marker pen or a highlighter, and it’s lightweight enough to slip inside your handbag, which I did. For a week, with a gentle press of the magnetic nozzle, you can control how much cream output you need. I generally make do with drops the size of less than a five cent coin for application on both cheeks. Easy peasy!

Using the rounded nozzle part of the pen, I blend the essence by rotating the applicator on my skin, the freckles on both of my cheeks. I use one time in the morning and at night before bed, since it was so easy to add to my skincare routine.
The essence generally absorbs into my skin pretty quickly, leaving no sticky feeling whatsoever. I noticed lighter pigmentation than usual, two weeks in. Best of all, I have eczema and my skin breaks out like mad, when I use my non-regular products, or even an obscure facial mask, so I was pleased to share that I didn’t suffer from any redness nor skin sensitivity. Big plus point!
