Ian Veneracion dismisses rumours of affair
28 Jan – Ian Veneracion has recently responded for the first time regarding the rumours that he is separating from wife, Pam Gallardo due to a supposed affair.
On 27 January, the actor took to social media and posted an image bearing the words "I don't want to normalise people exploiting our personal lives for their entertainment. I don't need to defend myself from the lies of perverts."
He captioned the post, "Once upon a time I was pissed", and added the hashtag "happily married".
The issue sparked earlier this week after a blind item in PEP stated that a handsome actor was separating from his wife due to his affair with a younger co-star who is currently dating the son of a prominent figure.
Many assumed that the rumours were about Veneracion and his co-star Sue Ramirez as they were working together on the TV5 sitcom, "Oh My Dad!". It is noted that Ramirez has been romantically linked to Javi Benitez, son of businessman and Negros Occidental politician Albee Benitez.
Ramirez remains silent on the issue, though her rumoured boyfriend had since defended her over on Instagram.
