Korean movie stars Hyun Bin and Jang Dong-Gun will be in Singapore on 30 October to promote their new film “Rampant”. It will be their only international promotional visit for the zombie horror film, which opens islandwide on 1 November.

The duo, along with director Kim Sung-Hoon, will be attending a public meet-and-greet event during their visit, as well as the film’s gala premiere.

The actors are scheduled to appear at the meet-and-greet at Suntec City Mall’s North Atrium at 7pm. Their red carpet appearance at the gala premiere at Resorts World Theatre on Sentosa is scheduled for 8pm.

This will be Hyun’s first trip to Singapore since 2013, when he attended a fan-meeting event at Bugis+ mall. As for Jang, he last appeared in Singapore in 2005 for a promotional trip for “The Promise”, which also starred Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung.

From the same producers of the hit horror movie “Train to Busan”, “Rampant” is set in medieval times in Korea, where undead demons are threatening the royal palace. Hyun plays Prince Ganglim, who reluctantly battles the demons and infected peasants while fending off his Minister of War (Jang), who has his eyes on the throne.

This is Hyun’s fourth movie in two years, while Jang’s recent projects include TV series “Suits” and the thriller “Seven Years of Night”.

This article was updated on 30 October 2018 with details of the meet-and-greet session and red carpet.
