And it has wow-factor, with those sequin and bead embellished sleeves detailed with delicate embroidery. Yet it's not too OTT.
In midnight blue – which is more flattering to the complexion than black – the fabric is 100% organic cotton jersey. It has been designed for a relaxed, comfortable fit and will be a maxi length if you're short, or a long-midi if you're taller.
And, hurrah, it's also machine-washable. Simply turn it inside out and wash it at no more than 30 degrees. If it's creased, you can cool iron it on the reverse.
What gives this dress the X-factor, though, is that while it is a supremely comfortable, throw-on style that can be worn with flip-flops to the beach, simply swapping your shoes for something dressier (like strappy silver sandals) will up its glam quotient, making it the perfect piece to wear from beach to bar.
