Huang Xuan slams domestic abuse rumours
19 Sep - Huang Xuan's camp has recently slammed irresponsible parties who have defamed the actor with rumours of domestic violence.
As reported on Phoenix, the issue sparked recently, when a gossip site posted a rumour saying that a man surnamed H was accused of being a domestic abuser and has been detained by the police after a recent fight.
The blind item continued saying that the actor became famous thanks to the help of others but turned bad once he became famous and blocked those who helped him in the past.
The post came with an image of a man's silhouette, which netizens were quick to identify to be Huang's silhouette.
In response to the rumours, Huang's studio took to Weibo and stated, "Unidentified people have used Mr. Huang Xuan's silhouette on social platforms to maliciously fabricate and slander, and openly spread false statements, which have seriously infringed Mr. Huang Xuan's reputation."
"We will adopt a zero-tolerance attitude towards the continued spread of such false information, pay close attention and reserve the right to pursue legal responsibilities of the relevant responsible parties through legal channels, and resolutely protect Mr. Huang Xuan's public image and reputation from any infringement," they added.
