Hu Ge wants to work with Tse Kwan Ho

22 Oct - While most actors would choose Hong Kong stars like Andy Lau or Tony Leung as stars they would like to work with, Chinese actor Hu Ge has someone entirely different in mind.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who made a rare appearance at Emporio Armani launch in Hong Kong recently, shared that while he is interested to work with Hong Kong actors in future projects, he would love to work with actor Tse Kwan Ho the most.

"I saw Tse Kwan Ho in the stage play "The Mad Phoenix" and he was really great. I really hope to work with him in a theatre production one day," he said.

Though Tse has done many films and TV dramas such as "The Stolen Years" and "Nothing Gold Can Stay", the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts' alumnus came to prominence through his stage work in the aforementioned play, and also in "I Have a Date with Spring".

With Hu Ge wanting to reinvent himself as a serious actor and filmmaker, working with Tse may be a good choice for him to successfully achieve his goal.

Meanwhile, Hu, who was asked about his absence from the second instalment of "Nirvana in Fire", shared that he didn't participate in the second series as his character has been imbedded deep in the fans' mind, and him joining the second series will only make it hard for them to invest themselves in the storyline.
