Hu Ge, Wang Xiaochen deny marriage rumours
12 Jul – Another day, another marriage rumour for golden bachelor Hu Ge, who is recently linked to another fellow actress.
As reported on Sohu, tabloids recently alleged that the actor has secretly tied the knot in Shanghai with actress Wang Xiaochen (aka Sunny Chen), and that their marriage is supposedly an open secret among those in the entertainment industry.
It is noted that Hu and Wang previously worked together in the 2015 romantic comedy series, "Good Times".
The news had since been debunked by his agency, which posted a screenshot of the rumour and added the word "fake" on top of it.
"Fake. Never spread rumours, never believe rumours," the agency wrote in the caption.
Wang's camp also echoed similar sentiments, saying that they are gathering evidence to pursue legal action against those who slandered the actress.
It is noted that this is not the first marriage rumour of Hu Ge this year. Back in February, he was rumoured to have married Crystal Liu, while many claimed that he has rekindled his romance with ex-girlfriend Xue Jianning in June after he was spotted at her stage play.
His camp has denied both rumours as well.
