Hu Ge to star in first light comedy movie in years
2 Jun – Hu Ge is set to star in his first comedy movie in many years through the new film, "Zou Zou Ting Ting".
As reported on NetEase, the movie will be his first film since the birth of his child, with Hu reuniting with actress Gao Yuanyuan.
The movie tells the story of Wu Di (Hu Ge), who decides to return to his hometown after feeling dejected living in Beijing for many years. Unexpectedly, his hometown is not how he used to imagine.
His life takes a different turn, however, when he meets his former schoolmate Liuliu (Gao Yuanyuan).
The movie reportedly has been launched in Neijiang earlier, with Hu and Gao already filming several scenes together. Gao was also seen filming a scene earlier, riding a bicycle on the streets of Chengdu.
Other stars include Yue Hong, Liu Jun, Gan Yunchen, and Jin Jing.
No news as to when the movie will be released.
