Hu Ge shocked fans with marriage and baby news

1 Feb - First it was Song Joong-Ki, and now Chinese heartthrob Hu Ge is announcing that he is married and is now a father.

The 40-year-old actor shocked many fans with the news that he shared on Weibo, writing, "Mother and daughter are safe, good news to everyone. I have been in the industry for 20 years, thank you for growing up with me, and now I will move towards the next stage of life with you."

"I hope everyone can give me more support and understanding. The past year has been difficult. My wife is not a public figure. In order to let the child be born smoothly, the good news has not been announced."

Hu stated that he hopes everyone will forgive him for the surprising news.

Prior to the marriage news, Hu Ge was rumoured to have rekindled romance with ex-girlfriend Xue Jianing after he was seen at her musical performance. The two had since denied it.
