"Hoy! Love You!" scrambles to find Marvin Agustin replacement
5 Nov – The team of the new iWant TFC project, "Hoy! Love You!" is scrambling to find a replacement for Marvin Agustin, after the actor decided to pull out of the project in the last minute.
As reported on PEP, the production, which has already secured a lock-in shoot in compliance with Inter-Agency Task Force On Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) to safeguard against the pandemic, suddenly found itself without a lead actor after Agustin decided to withdraw from the movie very near to the date of filming.
The decision was a surprise to everybody, seeing that Agustin had accepted the project a long time ago. It was to be his reunion project with former onscreen partner, Jolina Magdangal.
The last-minute withdrawal is now causing a problem for the production staff, as it is now adding to the list of challenges, including the loss of one of its locations.
The project was originally set to film some of its scenes at a beach resort in Lobo, Batangas. However, the beach was recently devastated by the recent Typhoon Rolly (Goni).
The upcoming project will also star Dominic Ochoa, Winnie Cordero, and Pepe Herrera.
