Though 50 Shades mania has slightly abated from its peak a few years ago, the internet got all hot and bothered yesterday when a listing for this modest looking Pennsylvania home went viral for including photos of its-let's call it untraditional-basement decor that clearly was inspired by the movie. Observe:

Yes, that's what only can be described as a high-end adult playroom a la Christian Grey, complete with a sexy bed, whips, a pillory, and a wooden star where consenting adults can tie each other up. However, the color scheme is much less Red Room of Pain, as it is, as one House Beautiful editor put it, it "looks like it could have been designed by Joanna Gaines." Coldwell Banker Realtor Melissa Leonard initially posted the full house tour, but all the attention has caused many sites to remove the photos from the listings. The house also did have a listing on Airbnb as "Maison X" but that has also since been removed. Leonard told The Cut she was frustrated that many sites had removed the photos "“They’re not letting me portray the house as it is,” she said. “I think if [potential buyers] show up at this house and they don’t expect it, I don’t want someone bringing children down there.” However, she admits that interest in touring the home is definitely still high.

The rest of the house features 4 upstairs bedrooms, 2.5 baths, three fireplaces, a gourmet kitchen and hardwood floors throughout. The house is listed for $750,000, and although the controversial photos have been removed from sites like Zillow and Redfin, the language of the listing does still include a line noting that the full finished walk-out basement can "be converted back to a typical suburban basement." As for why Leonard decided to include the photos in the first place, she said the homeowner wanted her to. She told Slate: "He wanted to keep it because of the Airbnb business. He told me it had to be what it is. I’m cool with it. That’s why people are so interested in the house now."
