Your Home Bar Definitely Needs One of These Quirky DIY Liquor Dispensers

From Country Living

Two beloved pastimes-gardening and boozing-come together in this amazing DIY idea, which is guaranteed to be quite the conversation starter at your next party.

By hammering together some pipe pieces and a garden hose faucet, a mysterious Texan crafter that goes only by "RushNafikov" created this rustic DIY beverage dispenser, which he shared on Instructables.com. In just a few steps, this one-of-a-kind party piece comes together to neatly dispense your favorite liquor or mixer.

More than 27,000 people have saved this pin, and several have even made one themselves. Several commenters have recommended using copper or stainless steel pipes instead of brass ones, to avoid tainting your liquor over time (and be sure to clean any pipes you use first!). Using a standard "drinks pourer" in the bottle will also resolve any airflow problems you may experience, commenter AnitaH25 suggests.

And of course, you'll want to make sure you don't attach the bottle while it's upside down. To avoid making a mess, attach the upside-down dispenser to an upright bottle, and then flip them both over after the bottle is screwed on correctly. If you would rather just make things easy and buy one of these babies, you can purchase similar dispensers in the Man Made for Man Cave or Operation Adventure stores on Etsy for $55-$75.
