Holy ‘90s! Nickelodeon Slime Ice Cream Is Bringing Nostalgia to Shelves
Calling all *NSYNC-loving, Rugrats-watching, butterfly clips-wearing ‘90s kids! Nickelodeon Slime frozen bars AND ice cream cups are beginning to pop up in Walmart locations.
Instagram account @theimpulsivebuy posted a picture of the orange frozen bars with green “slime” on April 24. They were spotted at Walmart in a pack of 12. A couple hours after that, PEOPLE revealed Walmart exclusively confirmed that they are coming the stores beginning April 29. A pack of the creamy lemon lime and orange ices bars will be $2.97.
Those bars aren’t the only nostalgia you have to look forward to. Nickelodeon Slime ice cream cups are a sweet mix of low-fat vanilla ice cream and green icing swirls. They will retail for $4.97 for 12 cups.
Slime has been a staple in the Nickelodeon world for what seems like forever. Celebrities have taken the stage at kids’ award shows only to be covered in the gooey, bright green mixture. It has inspired products from JELL-O Edible Slime to Ghostbusters Twinkies to Slime Sauce ketchup. We’re excited that frozen bars and ice cream cups are being added to the list!
