H&M Home finds a permanent space at the newly revamped H&M Flagship Store
H&M’s flagship store reopens the doors to its flagship store at Orchard Building on Thursday, 24 August, after a five-month-long revamp to transform and upgrade the shopping experience for customers, with innovations in store design, a digitalised retail experience with Augmented Reality (AR) elements, and the official launch of the H&M Home brand in Singapore.
Oldouz Mirzaie, CEO/Managing Director of H&M South Asia shared at a group interview that, “It marks 12 years next month since we opened the flagship store, and it’s been about 14 years since H&M Home has come to life. I think it’s an ongoing process; we are continuously evaluating of course, how to improve our customer offer based on evolving customer needs, and also optimising the physical store portfolio. Over the last couple of years, I’m sure that many of you have seen that we have featured the Home assortment in the form of an annuals holiday pop-up, which has been met with a lot of excitement by customers in Singapore. But I also think it’s important for us that ww enter the market with H&M Home in the right time, and the right way.”
Filip Ekvall, Global Head of Sales H&M also shared that the brand will continue to democratise sustainable fashion: “As a market leader we are respectful that the fashion industry is under pressure from many different aspects. So we’re putting a fairly good amount of investments into renewable materials, recycling and reuse, with our investment arm, and we are challenging ourselves with regards to materials. 84% of our materials are either recycled or sourced in a more sustainable way.”

Miu Miu drops a collab with Church's
For Fall/Winter 2023, Miu Miu is dropping a collaboration with Church’s shoes, infusing the formality of the heritage brand with the free spirit the Miu Miu name represents.
Church's X Miu Miu products will be available in avant-première on miumiu.com from 29 August and in Miu Miu stores from 6th September.
Crafted in glossed brushed leather and in classic shades of black and tobacco the Church’s X Miu Miu shoes are rounded and broader in shape than the originals that inspire them. A malleable, non-slip and sporty moulded rubber sole replaces leather. The patterned serration that characterizes both styles is in place. Further rich detailing includes the Miu Miu logo on the tongues of the shoes and embossed into the sides of the soles and the Church’s X Miu Miu logo printed on the insoles. The double monk strap shoes are further embellished with the classic wing-tip motif that emphasizes the British foundations of Church’s.
