HK celebrities mourn Raymond Tsang's passing


27 Apr - Hong Kong celebrities recently expressed their shock and sadness over the passing of TVB actor Raymond Tsang.

As reported on Mingpao, stars including Sheren Tang, Evergreen Mak, and Myolie Wu, took to social media to express their condolences to the family and their thoughtful prayers for the actor, who played various supporting roles in TVB dramas over the years.

Sheren Tang, who worked with Raymond on "Healing Hands II", wrote, "He was a friendly, hardworking, and good colleague. The bad news came suddenly. Wishing you all the best. I miss you!"

Wayne Lai, who last worked with Raymond on "Short End of the Stick", posted, "He was a very diligent actor, very dedicated and great. Since we debut nearly the same time, I had worked with him in a lot of dramas."

Myolie Wu, who starred in "Triumph in the Skies" with him, wrote, "I thank you on behalf of the audience for so many wonderful roles. Thank you for leading us the younger generation!"

Evergreen Mak, who shared that Raymond was the one who welcomed him into TVB more than 30 years ago, said, "Your death is too sudden. May you have a safe journey!"

Raymond Tsang passed away recently while performing in Guangzhou. He was 58.
