Hins Cheung wins big at the RTHK Top 10 Gold Songs Awards
8 Jan – Hins Cheung has once again become the big winner of music awards, winning four accolades at the recently held RTHK Top 10 Gold Songs Awards.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who now has ten accolades from three awards ceremony, won Best Chinese Record for "Hinsideout", and Excellent Pop Singer award.
His song "Without" was also named one of the Top Ten Gold Songs, while Hins himself emerged as the winner of the Most Excellent Male Pop Singer of the night.
Speaking to the media after the event, Hins said that he will not be too confident about his chances at the JSG Awards.
"Although my songs have topped the list of all four music charts, each awards have different judging mechanisms," he said.
On the other hand, when asked why he thanked Eason Chan earlier, Hins said that the singer would always send messages of encouragement whenever Hins has a new single.
"He has paved the way for us younger generation. He takes good care of us," he said.
