Hins Cheung wants to spend more time with parents

19 Aug – Although this year marks his 20th year in showbiz, Hins Cheung stated that he would rather put his family first right now.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who appeared at the premiere of Benny Chan's last movie, "Raging Fire", stated that he owed his parents a lot after working non-stop for the past 20 years.

"I haven't seen them for a long time due to the pandemic. Suddenly I feel like they're getting old very quickly. There are also a lot of friends who have passed away in recent years, so it made me realise that the relationships with people are more important," he said.

Hins added that while one needs to earn money to make ends meet, it is also important to spend time with one's loved ones.

On the other hand, when mentioned that he has not made any new movies for the past four to five years, the singer stated that he would have no qualms accepting a role if it's suitable for him.

"I prefer to play funny and happy characters. In fact, there were directors who offered me a role before, but I was too busy making music at the time. I hope I have the opportunity to make a movie next year," he said.
