Hins Cheung revamps old French restaurant

16 Jan – After a year of planning, Hong Kong-based singer Hins Cheung revealed that he will be opening a restaurant serving French cuisine this month.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who talked about his projects at a radio show recently, stated that the restaurant, called JUNON, was originally opened in 1967, and is now reestablished at the Wu Chung House in Wan Chai.

"The restaurant occupies a space of 6,000 square feet, and is divided into three dining areas. There will be live performance shows, card games, and also a section where I sell my antique collections," he said.

Hins stated that he spent a lot of time on decorating the restaurant to bring out the old grand luxury feel and even hired a French chef to bring in traditional cuisine from the country.

"We also add authentic Hong Kong snacks to draw the customers in. I hope it will do well," he said.
