13 Sep - Hong Kong singer Hins Cheung has recently been bestowed an honorary Master's of Music degree by the University of West London.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer who appeared at the ceremony held at The University of Hong Kong in a complete academic robe on 9 September, said that he is fortunate to be honoured with a degree twice this year.
Back in May, the singer was awarded with the Honorary Doctorate Degree of Business by the Scandinavian Arts and Business Institute (SABI University).
The singer also expressed his intention to one day complete his studies and receive a real degree instead of an honorary one.
In a previous interview, Hins shared that he would love to further his studies overseas in classical music.
"I was never a music professional by training, thus after so many years in the industry, I've decided to pursue some formal study in classical music, the substratum of all pop music including Cantopop. More exposure to such art, canonic music can for sure help me master and render different genres and styles," he said, according to Ejin.
