Here's why “Special Forces: World's Toughest Test” isn't airing tonight

Fans of Special Forces: World's Toughest Test will have to endure their own tough test: waiting two extra weeks for the next episode.

Fox announced that the reality series will not air its next episode until Monday, Nov. 6. The series will then air episodes every Monday until the season finale on Nov. 27.

What's the reason Special Forces is delayed? Baseball fans already know the answer: the American League Championship Series is currently tied 3 to 3, which means the showdown between the Texas Rangers and the Houston Astros will be settled with a Game 7 tonight.

Game 7 of the ALCS will start at 8:03 p.m. ET, which will cut into Special Forces' usual 9 p.m. ET airtime.

Additionally, once the ALCS and the National League Championship Series have crowned their victors, the two league champions will face off when the World Series kicks off on Friday — and since Game 3 of the World Series is scheduled for Monday night, Special Forces is delayed another week.

So far, Special Forces has aired four episodes of its second season, and celebrities Blac Chyna, Tara Reid, Brian Austin Green, Dez Bryant, Robert Horry, Savannah Chrisley, and Kelly Rizzo have already dropped out of the competition, which sees stars endure intense boot camp-style training from ex-military professionals.

JoJo Siwa, Jack Osbourne, Tom Sandoval, Tyler Cameron, Erin Jackson, Bode Miller, and Nick Viall are all still in the game — for now. (For more information on players and eliminations, check out EW's guide to season 2's contestants.)

The series' first season, which aired earlier this year, saw stars like Mel B, Jamie Lynn Spears, Kate Gosselin, and Kenya Moore compete on the show. Only The Bachelorette's Hannah Brown and pro soccer player Carli Lloyd finished their training.

You can watch the fifth episode of Special Forces: World's Toughest Test season 2 on Fox on Nov. 6 at 9 p.m. EST/PST on Fox.
