Hello, Lizzo’s 2022 VMAs Performance May as Well Have Broken the Internet
When push comes to shove, Lizzo and her awesome dance moves are truly at the top of my list of things that will undoubtedly make me smile, and tonight was no exception. At the VMAs, the singer performed bits of TikTok hit “About Damn Time" before going into her iconic “2 Be Loved (Am I Ready)” from her second studio album Special. Honestly, it's def one of the award show's peak moments (and there were *many* beyond memorable moments to choose from lol); so definitely make sure you watch it if you haven't yet. Here’s a special small bit of her performance that shows us just how into it she was:

IRL, Twitter had *a lot* to say about how epic it was, so I'll let them take it away:

I mean, just look at how amazing she looks in this photo:
And yes, even our queen, Taylor Swift, was seen enjoying the performance as she sang along to Lizzo's new track and danced with her pals:

Hard to believe that this was only Lizzo’s second performance at the VMAs—just three years ago, she sang a medley of her *chef's kiss* classic hits “Good as Hell” and “Truth Hurts.” Fast-forward to today, and the singer not only gave a knockout show, but she's also up for four awards (!!) tonight, including Song of the Year, Best Pop, and Video for Good for “About Damn Time” and Artist of the Year.
TL;DR: She's having a pretty great night all in all and I, for one, am not mad about it in the slightest.
