Hebe Tien receives warning for performing her old songs

10 Dec – It was reported that Hebe Tien was reprimanded by her former record label, HIM International for performing her old songs at a recent concert.

As reported on Singtao, on 9 December, Taiwanese media outlets revealed that the singer received a warning from the company back in October for performing several of her songs that she recorded under the HIM banner, including the hit, "A Little Happiness", during her Taipei Arena concert the month prior.

The letter demanded that Hebe and the organiser explain their reason for singing the songs, and that they have no qualms negotiating the solutions for copyright infringement.

Speaking on behalf of Hebe, her management company, A Tune Music stated that all of their public performances have been legally authorised according to the procedures.

"The upcoming Christmas and New Year's Eve performances will also continue as usual. Hebe is doing fine, thank you for your concern."

On the other hand, her fellow SHE member Ella - who is also under another management - expressed surprise over the situation, though assured that Hebe is okay.

"I really feel her helplessness. I really don't know what to say," she added.
