Hawick Lau dismisses romance rumours with Roxanne Tong

3 Oct – Hawick Lau has recently dismissed rumours that he and TVB actress Roxanne Tong are currently dating.

According to On CC, rumours of romance between the two was first reported by tabloid outlet, Next Magazine, which claimed that the two started dating secretly since early this year.

The source claimed that it was actress Rosina Lam who set up the meeting between the divorced father of one and the "Forensic Heroes IV" actress, the latter whom she befriended after working together in the TVB series, "Daddy Cool". It was further alleged that the couple have also went on a romantic vacation to England and France in May, and would meet up secretly in mainland China - where Hawick's career is based.

However, when asked about it, Hawick's rep dismissed the rumour as false, saying that it was completely fabricated.

The actor's father and veteran star Lau Dan also laughed off the rumours, saying that it was outrageous.

"How did such a rumour came to be?" he added.
