Hannah Delisha still traumatised by miscarriage

1 Apr – Hannah Delisha recently revealed that she had actually lost her baby for nearly a month before it was confirmed by the doctor.

The actress, who spoke to the media for the first time since she revealed about her miscarriage, couldn't help but shed a tear at the thought of the moments she had to experience at the time.

"I had never had to be hospitalised or undergo any surgery all my life. So, it was a little traumatic for me, especially when the happiness I felt was shattered a minute into my pregnancy checkup," she said.

Hannah said that she was told by the doctor that her baby had not been alive for a month, and was given the option to undergo dilatation and curettage (D&C) or to have the miscarriage happen on its own.

"I finally decided to do the D&C, because I have to take some pills if I was to wait for the miscarriage to happen on its own. I refuse to take any risk," she added.

She also admitted to have been shocked over news of the early fetal death, saying that she didn't experience any signs of miscarriage and that she still felt very much pregnant.

Hannah tied the knot with husband Iman Shah in February 2021. She opened up about the miscarriage on 17 March. This was her first pregnancy.
