Halloween Horror Nights 11 is back in full force with 5 haunted houses & 3 scare zones

Universal Studios Singapore‘s much anticipated Halloween Horror Nights is back this year! Halloween Horror Nights 11 returns in full force in 2023, boasting 5 haunted houses, 3 scare zones, 2 new shows and a full-fledged immersive dining experience. The event will take place from 29 Sep to 4 Nov 2023.

Compared to Halloween Horror Nights 10 last year, which only had 3 haunted houses, 2 scare zones and 1 new show, this year’s event seems like it will be returning to its pre-pandemic operations.

The Haunted Houses

The most notable haunted house to look forward to is the All of Us Are Dead house, in collaboration with Netflix — fans of this hit zombie apocalypse series can look forward to being fully immersed in the horrors presented in the K-Drama.

Wondering what other houses there are to explore at Halloween Horror Nights 11? Rebirth of the Matriarch presents a bit of a throwback to the very first Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Singapore, in which visitors will be able to experience as a deadly ritual is conducted to bring The Matriarch back to life.

DIYU: Descent into Hell, on the other hand, puts a frightening twist on Chinese mythology as visitors face King Yama’s judgment and punishment for their sins on Earth. As someone who is obsessed with Haw Par Villa’s Ten Courts of Hell, I’m super excited for this one.

Fairy tale lovers, on the other hand, can look forward to Grimm Encounters, a warped take on the tale of the Pied Piper. Expect sinister twists on your favourite fairy tales in this haunted house.

The fifth and final immersive haunted house has yet to be announced, so keep your eyes peeled for Universal Studios Singapore’s announcement.

The Scare Zones

Traverse through the dark streets of Universal Studios Singapore and be immersed in 3 new scare zones, such as Dead Man’s Wharf, an attraction centred around the real-life historical Chinese pirate, Madame Dragon.

Worried that Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) will one day overtake all humans? Live out your nightmare at The Hacker, where a destructive A.I. being reigns supreme over a horrifying cyber-hellscape.

Finally, wander through The Cursed Kiramam, an Indian village cursed by the gods, and witness if the villagers are able to escape their impending doom.

Live Shows & Immersive Dinners

This year, Judgement Day is the night’s opening Scaremony, where an unfortunate soul attempts to escape King Yama’s final judgement.

The Hacker: Game Over is the second live show of the night, in which the destructive A.I. attempts to hack her way out of the virtual world.
