Hailey Bieber is a Y2K princess in pink crystal-covered corset mini-dress
When Hailey Bieber visited London last month to launch her beauty brand Rhode to the UK, she made sure to serve seriously fire 'fits every single day. There was *that* silver sequinned tube dress, her fab corset and suspenders look (later copied down to a T by Rita Ora!), and even a pale blue mock-croc co-ord by brand-of-the-moment 16Arlington... To name but a few.
So, it was kiiiiiinda to be expected that Hails would pull out all the stops style-wise when it came to attending Rhode's one-year anniversary party in New York. But still, we were not prepared for *these* levels of fabulousness.
We're thinking Hailey must have had Paris Hilton circa 2002 front and centre of her mood board when she chose this 'fit, cos it's giving *proper* Y2K socialite princess vibes – and naturally, we're completely obsessed. Just take a look at this...
I mean, this look literally 👏 has 👏 it 👏 all. All-over pink Swarovski crystals! A built-in corset! Delicate bows! A plunging neckline! One of the shortest skirts we've ever seen! A matching bedazzled handbag! Naked heels! Aaaaaaand some seriously major Tiffany & Co. diamond jewellery, just to top it all off. Hailey's really giving us the most, and making us wonder why we've been so obsessed with "quiet luxury" minimalism after all.
The eagle-eyed fashionistas among you might have been able to ID Hailey's dress already, because it's an absolute *classic* Vivienne Westwood Couture silhouette. The exact dress in question was custom-made for Hailey, though, so sadly we won't be able to get our hands on the same lewk.
BUT! The good news is, summer sparkles are a seriously big trend right now (see Ludovic de Saint Sernin, Versace, Nensi Dojaka and 16Arlington's SS23 shows for ref!) so we can expect to see tonnes of similarly shimmery looks hit our favourite – and more affordable! – brands v soon.
