Grasshopper's Calvin Choy welcomes first baby

12 Jul – Hong Kong boy band Grasshopper's Calvin Choy welcomed his first son on 7 July. He shared his joyful spirit with all the Chinese Netizens on his Weibo page.

Calvin uploaded a photo of him carrying his baby together with his wife with the caption: "Lucky 7! I want to thank my wife for bringing a new family member to our family. Thanks for all the blessings! I love you guys".

The 47-year-old singer described his son as inheriting the talent and the charisma of his brother, Remus Choy. A day after the birth, he uploaded another photo of his son and expressed his gratitude to all of his friends and family members.

The singer was noticeably absent from the shoot of a music programme produced by TVB, as he had to be with his wife during the childbirth.

Meanwhile, bandmates Remus Choy and Edmond So said they are very glad to hear the arrival of Calvin's baby and excitedly declared that they will be visiting his house very soon.
