Grace Wong shares photo with no make-up to inspire others
19 Mar – TVB actress Grace Wong recently decided to share a photo of herself without make-up, in celebration of International Women's Day.
As reported on HK01, the actress who spoke about the no make-up challenge, wrote online that it took her some time to love her own imperfections.
"Sometimes we're so use to looking at ourselves glamoured up that we forget to embrace our true beauty. Today is that day I celebrate the face that my parents and God have given me: Untouched, unbeautified, unphotoshopped."
"It's awesome to be a woman and let's learn to embrace and love our perfect imperfections," she added.
Speaking about the photo later in an interview, Grace admitted that she originally wanted to show the photo only to her friends at first, but then decided to share it to her fans.
"A lot of people are afraid of taking photos of themselves without photo editors. I hope everyone can learn to appreciate their real self," she said.
