Grace Wong is back in air boot again due to leg injury
23 Sep – Grace Wong couldn't help but laugh at herself as she had to pull out her old air boot again after injuring a leg filming her series, "Super Emissary".
The TVB actress recently shared an image on Instagram of an old photo of herself in her air boot next to a new picture of her in the same footwear, writing, "7 years ago and Today! Welcome back old friend! Yes, I'm talking to my air boot!"
Grace stated that despite getting injured shooting her drama, she was also grateful that it happened just as she was finishing her last scene - meaning that the incident would not disrupt the filming schedule.
She also expressed relief that the injury had nothing to do with her previous torn ligament, though she will have to wait for the result of the MRI to know the details.
"I'm so grateful to the producer and director of the next series. Everyone is so accommodating to my situation. I can rest for a little while, so I have much time to prepare my role, and then work alongside everyone," she added.
However, the injury also meant that Grace had to cancel her music video shoot, though the actress said that she will use the opportunity to prepare herself more.
"God always has perfect timing. I really trust in His plan for me, that is to make me prosper and not to harm me. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise. I will rest well and recover well. Thank you for everyone's messages and blessings," she said.
