Grace Lam admits getting divorced
24 Nov - Hong Kong actress Grace Lam recently revealed that she and her estranged husband are calling it quits.
According to Mingpao news, the actress shared the news on 22 November, while attending a store launch, saying, "The decision has been made. We will discuss with the lawyers about the divorce, the alimony, and the custody."
The actress admitted that it was hard for her to make the decision and to announce it to the public, but that it has to be done.
In a previous interview, Grace revealed that she and her husband have not been communicating with each other for a while and that they would only relay information through the maid.
"I have considered two options," she was quoted saying. "I don't want to end the relationship. I want to see if I can save it."
But now that divorce was the option they have chosen, Grace said that she will try and fight for her son's custody.
"We still have not spoken to each other. We only communicate through our lawyers," she said.
Grace also revealed that she has been repeatedly harassed by an unknown woman.
"I have received calls from someone without a Caller ID more than twenty times. The person did not speak, but I suspect that it's a female caller. I can hardly sleep and I don't know what the intentions are," she said.
