Grace Chan denies cutting lines at Osaka airport

20 Nov – TVB actress Grace Chan has recently clarified reports that she was using her celebrity status to cut queues at an airport check-in counter in Osaka, Japan.

As reported on Mingpao, previously a netizen recently slammed Grace, saying that the actress was given "a special treatment" by going straight to the front of the queue at the check-in to load her and her family's luggage, causing delay for other passengers who were waiting in line.

When asked about it recently, Grace said that she wasn't cutting the line, but that she had purchased the 'U-Biz express pass' back in Hong Kong, which came with certain privileges, including a priority in check-in and registration.

"In fact, many airlines also arrange this kind of service. Mine is ranked a priority. I don't know why this is so," she said.

Grace said that she really enjoyed the trip to Japan as it has been a while since she and her family were able to go on vacation together.

Nonetheless, despite the clarification, some netizens are still expressing disdain, saying that the pass she bought should have only enable her to get priority in Hong Kong, and no other places.
