GOT7 to come to Singapore for first K-pop hologram concert outside Korea

GOT7, the K-pop band that gave us the hits “If You Do”, “A” and “Girls Girls Girls”, will be in Singapore to kick off the K-live Sentosa concert on 23rd February at 8pm.

The multinational seven-member group will be holding a mini fan meeting in conjunction with the launch of K-live Sentosa at Resorts World Sentosa, which will be the first K-pop hologram concert attraction to open outside of Korea.

GOT7 will be among the first three acts featured in the hologram concert attraction, along with girl group Wonder Girls and boy groups 2PM.

After six months, the concert content will be refreshed and more acts will be featured in the lineup.

Tickets will go on sale starting from 12 February, and they can be purchased from Sistic as well as from the Resorts World Sentosa website.

Ticket prices for only the hologram concert range from $19 to $39, while ticket prices for the full package consisting of the hologram concert and other live performances, range from $24 to $48.

The technology behind such hologram concerts allows the creation of life-like 3-D visuals of the Korean music group members performing in order to simulate a real-life concert experience.

Other notable Korean acts that have made use of this K-pop hologram concert experience include Psy, BIGBANG and 2NE1.

Meanwhile, there is also a ticket giveaway for GOT7 fans on K-live Sentosa’s Facebook page.
