Gordon Lam will not change because of an award
13 Feb - Despite already being acknowledged with a Best Actor award by the Hong Kong Critics' Society for his role in "Trivisa" and being nominated again at the Hong Kong Film Awards, Gordon Lam stated that he has no intention to change his ways.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who made his first public appearance since being nominated at the Hong Kong Film Awards recently, shared that he will continue to work in his usual pace when it comes to movies.
"I do not intend to increase my salary or even accept more roles in the future. But someone did offer me to direct my own web series and a short film. I was even approached to produce my own film," said Gordon.
Due to these continuous behind-the-screen offers, the actor said that his company is planning to hire more employees for more effective work.
As to whether he has plans to work with Jordan Chan and Richie Jen again, Gordon shared that he has heard about Johnnie To's intention to produce a prequel of "Trivisa".
"If that's confirmed, I really would like to have more scenes with the other actors," he said.
