Megan Thee Stallion is giving us something to celebrate. The rapper is releasing her debut album, aptly titled Good News, next Friday, November 20. She just shared the announcement on social media with a heartfelt note to her fans.

"Hotties , I first want to say thank you for riding with me, growing with me, and staying down with me since my first mixtape Rich Ratchet !" she wrote, looking back at her 2016 mixtape. "Through this rough ass year we’ve all been having I felt like we could all use a lil bit of good news."

She also shared what looks like the album cover, featuring a stripped-down Megan covered by nothing but a newspaper as she's surrounded by headlines and news print.

According to a release, the title reflects "Megan’s ethos that in the midst of everything negative going on in the world, we all have the ability to make and become our own good news." A fitting mindset for 2020.

This would mark Megan's second project in a year after she dropped the celebrated Suga on March 6. Good News will also arrive months after the artist released her single "Girls in the Hood, and the X-rated collaboration "WAP" with Cardi B, which undeniably became one of the biggest hits of the summer.

Other wins Megan is celebrating this year? Performing on Saturday Night Live, winning five BET Awards, earning a MTV VMA Award, and being honored in TIME magazine's TIME100 list. The good news can only get better from here.
