Golden Melody Awards 2019: Winners' list and red carpet pictures
SINGAPORE — The Golden Melody Awards 2019 went on smoothly on Saturday (29 June) at Taipei, with the biggest winner of the night awarded to pop diva Jolin Tsai. Her album, Ugly Beauty, had landed with seven nominations and picked up two awards: Album of The Year and Song of The Year, which was Womxnly.
Jolin celebrated her win with this speech: “By making this album, I discovered my most authentic self.”
Other notable winners of the night included Leo Wang, Hong Kong singer Sandy Lam, who win Best Male and Best Female Mandarin Vocalist award, respectively.
