Golden Horse: "My Missing Valentine" bags most awards

23 Nov – "My Missing Valentine" was recently named the big winner at the 57th Golden Horse Awards, bagging five awards out of its eleven nominations.

As reported on Epoch Times, the movie, which had already earned the most nominations for this year's event, won Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Visual Effects, Best Film Editing, and ultimately Best Feature Film.

In his acceptance speech, director Chen Yu-hsun thanked his parents for giving birth to an adorable child before proceeding to thank the cast and crew for their cooperation.

It is noted that Chen has been shortlisted three times in Best Original Screenplay category and twice for Best Director throughout his career.

"My Missing Valentine" revolves around a 30-something post office staff named Hsiao Chi who finds herself waking up to a day after Valentine's Day without knowing what had happened after accepting a date from a handsome man she met on her way home after work. It stars Patty Pei and Liu Kuan-ting.
