30 Apr – Chinese online video platform, iQiyi recently announced that it is now entering into a multi-year partnership with Philippines' network giant, GMA.

The new collaboration means that viewers are now able to watch their favourite Kapuso shows online via the platform 24 hours after they are aired on GMA.

"We are excited to be a part of this journey with our partners from GMA," said Sherwin dela Cruz, the country manager at iQiyi. "Today is not about Korean content or Chinese content or Japanese anime or Thai horror that we will have [on our platform]. It's the advent of new Filipino content in iQiyi."
