Glaiza De Castro launches her YouTube channel

17 Jun – Glaiza De Castro is joining the slew of celebrities who have their own YouTube channel by starting her own vlog on the said platform.

As reported on GMA News, the singer-actress shared the good news on Instagran with a clip from her video, in which she could be heard saying, "Hello, I'm Glaiza De Castro and welcome to my channel."

She captioned it, "..and I did it. So help me God!"

In her first video which is only 1 minute in duration and was uploaded on 14 June, she expressed that "I've been thinking of doing this for a long time now but the thought of speaking in front of the camera, as ironic as it may sound, sort of scares me."

"I thought it would be more interesting to show some random videos for now, to give you an idea of who I really am," she added.

De Castro also stated that she is unsure how many things about her private life she wants to share with her fans, but that she knows that she wants to share something with them.

"Whether it's something I'm really passionate about, something I'm scared of, something that makes me sad or happy, I'm going to share it and I want you to be a part of it," she added.

For now, the Kapuso actress has accumulated nearly 4,000 followers on the channel.

Anger mounts over China's response to deadly car attack
STORY: China's government faced mounting anger Wednesday over its handling of the deadly car attack there earlier in the week - and appeared to be taking steps to limit news of the incident. On Monday, a man drove into a crowd at a sports center, killing 35 and injuring 43. But the government took nearly a day to announce the death toll, and the incident has been little reported by state media.
