Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon recently dropped the full dance video of her latest hit INVU.

INVU, which sounds like “I envy you”, is also the title of Taeyeon’s third studio album and her first full-length album in three years, coming after her 2019 album Purpose.

Since its release last month, the song has topped the charts and even achieved “Perfect All-Kill”, awarded by South Korea’s first and only online music ranking combined chart iChart. The recognition is given to songs that rank first on all of the major music streaming services in South Korea.

Soompi described INVU as “a house-based pop dance song with a gentle and dreamlike synth sound and a charming flute melody.” The lyrics are also said to “express one’s feelings after seeing how different their lover is in comparison to herself, who does not hold back in love even after getting hurt over and over again.”

While the original music video looks more enchanting and fantastical, with Taeyeon donning multiple glamorous outfits and appearing on various sets, the dance practice video provides a full view of her alluring dance moves and the dance formations by the casually dressed Taeyeon and her eight background dancers.
