Gigi Yim sees the silver lining in concert postponement
20 Oct - Although she couldn't go through with the second night of her show "Gi-Force" earlier, Gigi Yim is seeing all the positive sides to the postponement.
The singer recently took to social media to share photos from night one of her concert earlier this month, and wrote, "I believe it is God's arrangement. He wants to give me more time to prepare and present a better me to everyone, whether it is the fans, the audience, everyone in front of and behind the scenes, or you who are reading this post now, because this time is very important to me."
"Everyone should know that I have very high expectations for myself, and I was not satisfied with my performance in the first concert. So, I hope I can work hard at the next one," she added.
She also thanked the organisers, her fan clubs, the behind-the-scene crew, as well as singer Gigi Leung, who was the guest at her first solo concert.
"It is an honour and a pleasure that will be unforgettable," she posted.
Gigi was originally scheduled to perform for two days on 7 and 8 October, but had to postpone the second day due to Typhoon Koinu that hit Hong Kong. No new date has been announced for the time being.
