Gigi Yim plans to release a solo album in the New Year
13 Feb – After a great Year of the Rabbit, Gigi Yim hopes that she will continue to prosper as we enter the Year of the Dragon.
As reported on Mingpao, the Hong Kong singer, who appeared at a Lunar New Year event recently, stated that she was able to enrol in her favourite university and hold her first solo concert last year.
"Entering the New Year, in addition to studying hard and getting good grades, I hope to achieve more breakthroughs in my work, and to release a solo album," she said.
Gigi explained that she will devote more time to her music career, adding, "I want to work with good producers, outstanding musicians, and find good songs that both I and music fans like, since it takes a lot of songs to make an album."
However, no matter how ambitious her goal is, the singer said that the most important thing is her health.
"I caught the flu last year and I was so sick that I couldn't do anything. My family and fans were also worried, so now the most important thing is good health," she added.
