Gigi Leung signs with Filmko Entertainment

26 Jun - Gigi Leung has recently signed a new contract with Filmko Entertainment Group.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who ended her movie contract with Mei Ah Entertainment in March, reportedly has signed a three-year deal with Filmko worth HKD50 million (approximately USD6.45 million).

In addition to the three-year deal, Gigi will also be able to expand her career to mainland China.

When asked about the contract, a Filmko spokesperson admitted that Gigi and Filmko CEO Wang Haifeng have known each other for many years and that they are happy to be able to cooperate with each other.

On the other hand, Gigi's manager Denise refused to confirm the actual amount of the deal, and only said, "We hope that we will have a pleasurable cooperation."
