Gerald Anderson would love another Bea-Lloydie movie
8 Jul – Gerald Anderson recently stated that he has no issue at all with girlfriend Bea Alonzo reuniting with her onscreen partner John Lloyd Cruz.
As reported on ABS-CBN, the actor, who was asked about Alonzo's recent collaboration with Cruz for a commercial, stated that he already knew about the said project for a while now.
"I even told [Bea] that she should do another movie with him. I said, 'A lot of people missed you two'. It would be super refreshing, won't it?" he said, adding that the first Filipino movie he ever watched was the Bea-Lloydie feature, "Now That I Have You".
Anderson also acknowledged Cruz as an idol in the industry, saying that everybody looks up to him as a serious actor.
"It's good to see him back. Hopefully this will be the first of his many comebacks," he added.
Cruz recently appeared for the first time in two years alongside Alonzo and Piolo Pascual to endorse the shawarma brand, Turks.
The actor has been on hiatus since 2017 to focus on his personal life and subsequent birth of his first son Elias Modesto with girlfriend Ellen Adarna.
