George R. R. Martin leaks info on prequel
Cult TV-Series Game of Thrones may be over, but fans are kept excited over the much awaited prequel that’s slated to be about the events thousands of years before GOT, when there was a great war fought between the Children of the Forest (resulting in the creation of the White Walkers) and the First Men (aka humans as we know them). Now creator of the Game of Thrones book series George R. R. Martin has leaked some information about the upcoming prequel, leaving diehard fans of the show more excited than ever.
Nicki Minaj pulls out of Saudi Arabia concert
Rapper Nicki Minaj has pulled out of the Jeddah World Fest, saying that she wants to show support for women’s rights, LGBTIQ rights as well as freedom of expression. She was originally scheduled to headline the music festival on July 18th, although other performers like Liam Payne and DJ Steve Aoki are staying on course with the concert. The kingdom has played host to other performers in the past, like J-Lo, Mariah Carey, Sean Paul, the Black Eyed Peas, and DJs David Guetta and Tiesto.

Lady Gaga launches her colourful and campy beauty brand Haus Laboratories via a video on Twitter yesterday, fresh after the first images were leaked earlier this week. There’s also news that the singer has chosen Amazon as her retail partner, although one thing is for sure - that the products will be available for pre-order as soon as July 15th.
Stranger Things 3 breaks Netflix records
Stranger Things has been the most talked about show in the past week, and no surprise, with its lead up to the release of Season 3 including multiple fashion and sneaker collaborations. Netflix just announced that the show’s latest season blew up in-house records in less than a week, garnering 40.7 million viewings from household accounts, with 18.2 million of those already completed the entire season.
‘Breaking Bad’ stars bust out new mezcal
Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul formed their unbreakable bond through filming Breaking Bad, and while the show has long ended and firmly cemented in the annals of filmmaking history, the stars aren’t done working with each other just yet. The pals teased their new creative endeavour via social media in the lead up, with an announcement on the debut of “Dos Hombres” mezcal just yesterday.
