Genting Highlands set to open Asia’s largest Hard Rock Hotel by 2027
Genting Highlands is a popular weekend destination for both Malaysians and tourists as it offers a wide range of entertainment, attractions, and activities to enjoy. Housing the largest hotel in the world, First World Hotel, Genting Highlands is set to open the largest Hard Rock Hotel in Asia at King’s Park by 2027.
Hard Rock Hotel Genting Highlands will have a total of 1,001 rooms and suites, 200 square metres of retail space (Rock Shop), a heated swimming pool, a Rock Spa, a wide variety of dining options and nightly Rock ‘n’ Roll excitement in the lounge and bar.
According to the MalayMail, HR Hotel & Residences Sdn Bhd and Hard Rock International announced and signed an agreement to establish the hotel during an event on 14 Oct 2023. Hard Rock International’s senior vice president and head of global business development, Todd Hricko, King’s Park’s group CEO, Jayandren Subramanian, and HR Resort & Residences’ chairman, Lim Kim Chai, as well as King’s Park’s executive vice president, Sean Chen all attended this event.

Here at King’s Park, the soon-to-be-open Hard Rock Genting Highlands in Malaysia will represent the pinnacle of high-energy fun, luxury, and elegance for solo travellers, groups of friends, and families alike,” said Chen.
Chen also expressed his confidence that the Hard Rock Hotel Genting Highlands will play a pivotal role in the King’s Park development, situated at an impressive altitude of 1,000 metres above sea level. Covering a vast expanse of 61 hectares of freehold land, King’s Park is poised to establish itself as the inaugural central business district and an all-encompassing entertainment destination in Genting Highlands.
This will be the 3rd Hard Rock Hotel in Malaysia with the other 2 located in Penang and Desaru Coast, Johor.
