Gemma Chan and Dominic Cooper Are the Cutest Under-the-Radar Couple in Hollywood
Don't Worry Darling is slated to premiere at the Venice Film Festival, which means Gemma Chan is about to show up on the chicest red carpet of festival season—presumably looking amazing, per usual. And if you're wondering whether she'll be joined by Dominic Cooper, the answer is...maybe? These two have kept things pretty private since they got together back in 2018, but they've been making more public appearances in recent years—and we're laying it all out in timeline form, because their cute vibes simply deserve to be chronicled!

Gemma talks to Elle UK about maintaining privacy in her relationship, saying, "Over 10 years, you learn the importance of privacy, what you choose to share and what you don’t. When you start out, you don’t even know what is important to keep for yourself–I didn’t anyway–whereas now I think there are certain things that I absolutely know, 'That’s mine and it’s private.' For me, my comfort level is to have a clear distinction between what is for me and what I’m happy to talk about."

Gemma opens up about her and Dom in an interview with Harper's Bazaar, saying she is "so fortunate to be in a relationship where we can talk about anything" and that they talked openly about the responsibility she felt to speak out on behalf of the AAPI community during the pandemic.
"Dom was very understanding and empathetic," Gemma said. "I was quite open about how I was feeling during that time, and he was just incredibly supportive. I definitely didn’t feel I had to shoulder everything on my own. I’m really, really lucky."
Clearly these two are in it for the long haul (a five year relationship is a huge deal—especially in Hollywood), so we'll let you know what comes next for them. Including, hopefully, an appearance at the premiere of Don't Worry Darling!
