GEM Tang shares her thoughts on being beautiful

22 May – GEM Tang recently shared words of encouragement for her fans in her latest social media post, in which she talked about her struggle with the definition of beauty.

The singer, who posted a photo of herself on Instagram recently, admitted that she faced the same torture most girls experienced - that she was harsh towards herself for "not meeting the requirements" and "looking good enough".

"But since the "Queen of Hearts" tour that began in April last year, I regained my self-confidence that I lost along the way," she said.

According to GEM, the words "tall, short, fat, thin" carry no meaning at all since the definition of beauty is subjective and changing, that everyone is not required to look exactly the same and pursue the same kind of beauty.

"I hope that every girl will embrace their own uniqueness, believe in their own beauty, because real beauty comes from the inside out," she added.
