Ge Huijie: I just want to see my daughter!
22 Feb - Chinese model Ge Huijie has recently responded to ex-boyfriend Wang Feng's allegation that she has not been a good mother to their daughter Apple.
As reported on On CC, the rock singer previously expressed his frustration after Ge accused his wife Zhang Ziyi of using their daughter to show off her happiness. The issue sparked after Zhang posted a photo of herself with Wang and Apple having a good time during Valentine's Day.
Following her Weibo post, Wang Feng stepped up and defended Zhang, saying that the actress has been nothing but a good mother to Apple. He then questioned Ge's own role in Apple's life, adding that she was never there when her daughter needed her.
Following Wang's message, the model responded with another Weibo post, saying that all her calls and requests to visit her daughter have been rejected.
"I am not materialistic, and I only want to be myself. I believe that flesh and blood is closer than status and distance. It has been a year since I last saw Apple, and my request to visit her was rejected," she said.
She added, "I just wish to see my daughter. I hope you will live in happiness."
